The National Cardiac Centre at Malé City Group of Hospitals (MCGH) serves as the principal tertiary referral service for cardiovascular care in the Maldives for both adult and pediatric cardiac care. We provide comprehensive, protocol-driven cardiac services spanning prevention, diagnosis, advanced imaging, interventional cardiology, and long-term follow-up.
Our department integrates clinical cardiology, pediatric cardiology, invasive coronary and structural interventions, cardiac imaging, and device therapy within a multidisciplinary framework. We are committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and outcome-oriented cardiovascular care aligned with international best practices.
Through structured clinical pathways, data-driven audit systems, and continuous quality improvement, we aim to strengthen national cardiac capability while ensuring patient-centered care at every stage.
Cardiac patients who are critically ill will be admitted in CCU; When they require close cardiac monitoring (ventilated, non-ventilated and NIV) and for those Patients posted for CATHLAB procedures who require pre and post-operative care.
