Endocrinology

The Endocrinology Department is a specialized unit dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of hormonal and metabolic disorders affecting the endocrine system. It provides comprehensive care for conditions such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, adrenal and pituitary disorders, metabolic bone diseases, obesity, osteoporosis and reproductive hormone imbalances.  

The department manages both inpatients and outpatients, including endocrine emergencies, and plays a key role in handling referrals, offering expert support for patients admitted under other specialties.  The department also offers day care endocrine services, where specialized dynamic hormonal tests are performed in a safe and closely monitored clinical environment. Emphasizing a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach, it collaborates closely with various departments to ensure holistic care.  

In addition to clinical services, the department is committed to patient education, preventive care, continuous professional development, and research initiatives aimed at improving outcomes and advancing the understanding of endocrine disorders.
