Nephrology

The Nephrology Department established in 2014 at Indira Gandhi memorial Hospital, provides specialized care for patients with Kidney related diseases. National Uro Renal center was formed in 2016 in collaboration with NU hospitals, adding Urology services under the same umbrella as Nephrology as a solution for kidney related ailments.The department manages conditions such as chronic Kidney disease, Acute Kidney injury, Resistant uncontrollable hypertension, and electrolyte disorders.The Nephrology team coordinates with other clinical departments to manage patients in critical conditions.

The nephro team oversees 24 hours bedded state at haemodialysis center which runs 24 hours catering for over 130 patients. A peritonial dialysis service has been established and running for over 2 years. There is a outpatient service dedicated to dialysis patients as well as for transplant patients. We are dedicated to delivering safe, comprehensive, and patient centered renal care.
