Dr. Farzana Shaugee is an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive clinical and administrative expertise. She has a particular interest in pediatric developmental disorders, adult neurogenic disorders and fluency disorders. As Head of Department, she is responsible for overseeing clinical governance, service development, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based, and patient and family-centered rehabilitation services. Her professional focus includes early identification and intervention of speech and language disorders, advancing evidence-based rehabilitation practices, strengthening and contributing to the development of Speech Pathology and Audiology profession in the Maldives.
